Achievements of the NDA government under the leadership of the prime minster, shree Narendrabhai Modi:
NRIM2024 is for all NRIs and PIOs who love India (Bharat.) We all have seen the sea change in the fortunes of India in last four and a half years. We believe that for India to continue its progress on the all-inclusive path of development, it must reelect BJP with Sri Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister. Here is partial list of the achievement of the NDA government led by Sri Narendra Modi.
First and foremost, there are no government scams (compare that with billions of dollars’ worth scams during UPA regime of 10 years.)
There are no terrorist attacks anywhere in the country (compare that with flavor of the week/flavor of the month terrorist attacks during UPA regime, including the terror attacks in Mumbai on November 26-29, 2008.)
The terrorists and infiltrators are liquidated at the point of entry and in last four and a half years, a maximum number of them have been killed by our army.
Development is reaching every nook and corner of the country. Here are some of the far-reaching efforts of the Modi Government.
- Make In India: India became the fifth nation to build 12000 H.P. Railway engine.
- Swachh Bharat Abhiyan: Under this scheme, villages and cities have become remarkably cleaner. Toilet building in every village has been going on in full swing and open defecation has been reduced to a large degree.
- Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana:
- Ujjwala Yojana: Under this scheme LP cooking gas has reached millions of households, improved the lives of women and impacted their health positively with the elimination of smoke from the fossil fuels.
- Jan Dhan Yojana: Biggest beneficiary is the man at the bottom of the totem pole. By encouraging and facilitating opening of bank account for every citizen, the middlemen in the distribution of subsidy have been eliminated.
- Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana: This brings 11 billion citizens under health insurance scheme; they pay only a token amount of premium. Covers secondary and tertiary care hospitalization.
- Ayushman Bharat Yojana: Will be the world’s largest Health Insurance Initiative. It will cover 500 million people.
- Ensuring Affordable & Quality Healthcare: 1050 medicines brought under price control saving the consumers Rs. 100 billion.
- Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao Abhiyan: This movement is for the empowerment of women. It discourages (and penalizes) abortion of a girl child in the womb and encourages education of the girls by providing incentives.
- Pradhan Mantri Avaas Yojana: 10 million houses are built. Discount on interest for loans to build a house.
- Namami Gange: A Hanuman kike effort is being made to clean up the highly polluted Ganga river which holds a very important place in the mind of all Hindus. Large improvements have been made at Kanpur, Varanasi and Prayag.
- Change in Bankruptcy law: Forced 2100 companies to pay back to the banks, loans worth Rs. 830 Billion.
- Infrastructure Development at a rapid pace: More than 10,000 KM of broad-gauge tracks commissioned.
- Boost to Aviation sector: 25 new airports opened in secondary market. Now more than 100 million passengers travel by air every year.
- Roads: Longest Road Tunnel, the Chenani-Naahri tunnel in Jammu opened.
- Longest bridge at 9.15 KM Dhola-Sadya bridge over Brahmaputra River in Assam
- Developing 900 KM national highways
- Making national highways free of railway level crossings.
- 106 National Waterways added.
- Demonetization: To curb black money and to eliminate fake currency racket run by cross border terrorists and their State sponsors. It resulted in the filing of Income tax returns jumping 55%. Direct tax collection has risen by 85%.
